Livia Lynne Miller
Livia Lynne Miller is a representational artist native to Washington State. Her main interests lie in creating intimate portraits and idealized yet realistic landscapes. A fascination with emotional subtleties and rich inner worlds propel her desire to capture intimate yet impactful depictions of life and beauty, using traditional techniques to depict the people and places of today and the world of which she is a part. She draws inspiration from an abundance of sources including cinematography, instrumental music, writing, and above all else nature and life experience.
At Grand Central Atelier, she received formal training using classical methodology in figure and life drawing. From there, she continued her education as a mentee under Louis Carr of East Oaks Studio, where she has learned further refinement of her craft as an oil painter, combining solid technique with the language and poetry of visual art in order to create quality and impactful pieces.
